Québec expands its list of essential services and commercial activities

During his daily press conference, Premier François Legault announced the addition of new sectors to the list of essential services and commercial activities. These now include suicide prevention services, the service for victims of domestic violence and food banks.

As of April 15, other sectors will be allowed to return to work:

• mining operations,
• products, parts and other equipment required for the transport and logistics service,
• Landscaping and maintenance (including nurseries, garden centres and pool shops),
• tow truck, truck and specialized equipment and roadside assistance firms.

As of April 20,  residential construction will be allowed to resume its services.
