A new policy to support the community organizations of Chelsea!

Last night at Meredith Centre was held the official launch of the new policy of recognition and support for community organizations in Chelsea which will help them with their activities in a concrete and fair way. About 70 people including the municipal staff and a few members of Council gathered for the occasion.

This policy adopted by the previous Council last October began with a sincere desire to support and encourage the efforts and commitment of Chelsea organizations and volunteers. The Municipality hopes to reinforce the bonds of trust with the community groups based on clear and fair rules for all. With this policy, the Municipality is committed to supporting these groups by providing administrative, professional, technical and financial support.
