The Public Works Department of the Municipality of Chelsea wishes to inform the population that a preventive boil water advisory is now in effect for the entire water system.
All Chelsea residents served by the municipal water system must boil their water for at least one minute before consuming it, until the advisory is lifted. Note that it will also be possible during this period to observe cloudy water and a drop in water pressure throughout the system.
Intervention on the water system
On Thursday, December 9, 2021, the Public Works Department proceeded to repair a water main break on chemin d'Old Chelsea in the morning. During this period, the cooperation of citizens was requested in order to reduce water consumption.
