Community trail: your input to the greenhouse gas study

June 23, 2017

The Municipality of Chelsea and the Regional Council of Environment and Sustainable Development of Outaouais (CREDDO) are partnering to reflect on certain environmental benefits resulting from the creation of the community trail along the Chelsea railway corridor. One of these advantages is certainly the opportunity to reduce your carbon footprint by using the trail for active transportation and recreation. These actions will contribute to reducing the municipality's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions as well as to enhance the livelihood of the residents.

The purpose of this survey is to evaluate the impact of the community trail project on the transportation and recreation habits of citizens of Chelsea and to identify their effects on GHG emissions.

It is noted that the survey will end on Sunday July 2 at midnight.
