Following the Quebec government's announcement of March 31 concerning the transition of the MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais to an emergency zone, here are the changes to the services affected by these new measures.

Library

The library will maintain the same opening hours, but only contactless loan service is permitted. Access to the shelves is prohibited for residents.

A few work spaces will be available for elementary or high school students and post-secondary students.

To use these spaces, you must:

  • Provide proof of your student status (student card)
  • Be a resident of Chelsea
  • Have a Chelsea library card
  • Wear a mask at all times

For more details, visit the Library section of our website.

Please note that due to the Easter holiday weekend, the library will be closed this Saturday, April 3rd.

Closing of community centers

The community centers will have to close at 7:30 p.m. this evening in order to respect the 8:00 p.m. curfew.

The persons in charge of the activities have been contacted to advise them of the situation.

We invite all Chelsea residents to carefully read the new government measures in order to be informed of the changes. Details.
