Meech Lake road is now reopen to circulation.

Chemin du Pont: Water is dangerously approaching the bridge forcing a potential evacuation of residents living on the road. Firefighters are currently notifying the residents concerned. If you are one of these residents, you can contact Jason Prévost at 819 661-3343 for more information.
Update: April 19, 7:00 p.m.
Emergency work to add an other culvert on Meech Lake Road near civic address 881 forces the road to be close completely for a few hours. The reopening will be done when the road is secure. More details will follow.

Preventive work on de la Montagne Road (at the corner of Hollow Glen) has been completed. A diversion ditch was created to promote the flow of water toward an additional culvert and therefore avoid flooding of the road.
Water levels are currently high along the roads. Our team is closely monitoring the situation, and potentially plan to close some streets if the levels continue to rise.

The repair of a culvert on Meech Lake Road is now complete. Traffic is resuming normally.

Due to the rain currently affecting the region, our team must repair a culvert on Meech Lake Road. Please note that traffic will alternate during the work, which should take a few hours today.
This work is necessary to improve water flow.
