Lifting of the preventive boil water advisory on the municipal water system

The Municipality of Chelsea's Public Works Department wishes to inform the population that the boil water advisory affecting residents served by the municipal water system has been lifted. 

Residents are now able to safely consume water from the municipal aqueduct. 

The preventive boil water advisory had been issued by the Municipality on Friday, April 1, due to work related to a breakdown at the drinking water station. The Municipality had also asked residents to reduce their consumption due to this breakdown on March 31.
