Members wanted on the Environment, Sustainability and Climate Change Advisory Committee (ESCCAC)

The Municipality of Chelsea wishes to fill two vacant positions on the ESCCAC and is looking for residents interested in serving as volunteers for a two-year term, with the possibility of renewal. The committee meets one evening per month at 7 p.m.

The Municipality is looking for residents interested in serving on a committee that works to maintain the quality of life of Chelsea residents for current and future generations, protect and enhance the environment, promote sustainable development, and adapt to and combat climate change.

Interested candidates must have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Sustainable development
  • Environment
  • Climate change
  • Biodiversity
  • Nature conservation

All applicants must be residents of Chelsea, at least 18 years old, with a good oral and written understanding of French and English.

After receiving applications, a selection committee will choose its two members, and the Council will approve the appointment.
