Please note that as of January 1, 2019, the collection frequency of residual materials will be changed. This change is necessary to add the compost collection to the new schedule. Waste will now be collected less often in order to meet the provincial government's objective of recovering 100% of organic material by 2020 and thus reduce the amount of final waste per household.
You can also consult the calendar on page 3 of the compost information booklet you received at home. Hard copies are available at the reception desk of City Hall.
Main changes
As of January 1, 2019, the frequency will vary from season to season to schedule compost collection weekly in the hot season and every two weeks in the cold season. It is therefore important that you read the new calendar.
Waste collection will take place once a month from January to April and October to December, and every two weeks from May to September.
| | New frequency | January to April | - Garbage: 1x per month

Christmas Trees
This year, Christmas trees will be collected through the door-to-door collection of residual materials during the weeks of January 7 and 14, 2019. You will be allowed to drop them off with your recycling and composting and the contractor will pick them up. There will be no drop-off point at the municipal garage.
