Council ratified the nomination of Me Sheena Ngalle Miano to the position of Director General at an extraordinary session held on February 21. She had been acting in this role since December 6.
With a decade of experience as a lawyer, Me Ngalle Miano joined the Municipality in 2020 first as clerk and then as assistant director general. She is currently completing an MBA at the Université du Québec en Outaouais and a Master's in Program Evaluation at the École nationale d'administration publique. She also holds a Bachelor degree in Law from Université Laval.
"We are sincerely pleased to fill the position with a high quality individual from our organization and a resident of the Municipality of Chelsea. This nomination will allow us to create a synergy in order to guide the municipal team in the achievement of our objectives, including the optimization of services to citizens. We congratulate her for this nomination," said Mayor Pierre Guénard.
