Please note that a pilot project, in collaboration with the MRC police, the NCC and the Municipality of Chelsea, will be held tomorrow to address the problem of illegal parking along Meech Lake road near the beaches.
When the NCC parking lot will reach its full capacity, employees will block Meech Lake road at P9 (intersection with Gatineau Parkway) and only local traffic will be allowed to pass (residents and their visitors). Visitors of the NCC will be redirected toward the Gatineau Parkway.
The purpose of this procedure is to free the roads so that emergency vehicles can easily and without difficulty access nearby homes when needed.
