Public consultation on the development of river access in the Farm Point sector

In January 2021, the Municipality of Chelsea conducted a public consultation to identify locations that would provide access to the Gatineau River for Chelsea residents. Following the evaluation of these sites, the Farm Point area was chosen as the first community access point to the river because of the infrastructure and parking already in place at the Community Centre and Farm Point Park. In addition, this location will allow users of the Voie Verte Chelsea to enjoy the river without disturbing the neighbourhood.
The Municipality of Chelsea now invites you to participate in the public consultation on the development concept for river access in the Farm Point sector.

Time: 7:00 pm to 8:40 pm
Where: Farm Point Community Centre located at 331 chemin de la Rivière
Please note that the discussion will focus strictly on the design concept and not on the regulations governing access to the Gatineau River on municipal lands.
