Public information session - Slope stabilization work

February 14, 2018

The Municipality of Chelsea wishes to invite you to an important public information session about slope stabilization work along the Chelsea creek undertaken in 2019 on certain lands located on:

  • Chemin Fleury
  • Chemin Olmstead
  • Chemin Monhaffey
  • Chemin Beauséjour
  • Chemin Boisjoli
  • Chemin Lonergan

Residents that will be directly affected will receive a notice by mail in the next few days.

This preventive work is necessary to stabilize slopes that have a potential of provoking landslide. The work will be done with the collaboration of the « Ministère de la Sécurité Publique (MSP)» and the « Ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l'Électrification des Transports (MTMDET)».

In order to realize the preliminary conception study, we would like to advise you that drones may fly over the affected area to take aerial photography.
