A second public consultation for Chelsea's cultural and historical heritage

July 23, 2025

As part of the 150th anniversary celebrations, the Recreation Department is launching a public consultation on enhancing the Cascades train station. From July 23 to August 15, 2025, the public is invited to share their opinions and ideas about the project to renew this former station.

The consultation will focus on three themes:

  • Priorities for the relocation project
  • The types of development desired on the site
  • Heritage features to be preserved.

The station, currently located at the intersection of Chemin Old Chelsea and A-5, will be relocated to the junction of the Voie Verte and Chemin Mill. This site offers several advantages for becoming a heritage and community space.

The Municipality invites the public to take part in this collective effort to shape a place that reflects the community's values and history.
