Update: Garbage collection postponed

March 3, 2022

Due to the difficult road conditions experienced during the ice storms of February 23 and 24, the contractor responsible for the collection of residual materials was unable to carry out the collection of garbage and compost on several roads in the Municipality.

In order to remedy this situation and to prevent citizens from having a large accumulation of garbage, the contractor will resume the collection of garbage on the roads affected by this break in service on Monday, March 7, starting at 7 a.m.

To do so, residents will have to make sure that their road is adequately de-iced and sanded and will have to put their bin at the road before 7:00 a.m. for it to be picked up.

Compost collection will resume as usual schedule on Monday.

If your road name is not listed below and your garbage was not collected during the week of February 21st, please advise us promptly by phone at 819 827-1160 or by email at m.marenger@chelsea.ca.
