The Recreation, Sports, Culture and Community Life Department is looking for residents interested in getting involved in the Grande marche Chelsea event promoted by the Défi Pierre Lavoie, to be held on October 15 at the Meredith Centre.
The Grande marche is a 5 km walk that takes place simultaneously in different Quebec cities. It encourages healthy lifestyle habits, so that healthy choices become the norm for future generations.
Various roles are to be filled, such as:
- Welcoming participants
- Crowd supervisors
- Inflatable structure supervisors
- First-aid team
A short virtual training session will be held on October 10 for all volunteers. If you are interested, please send your application by completing the online form below before October 2nd, 2023.
