Winter Trail Conditions

Conditions of the Winter Trail along the railway corridor, further to the passage of the trail grooming equipment for December 7, 2018.

Snow density: 4 cm

Precipitations since last passage: 4 cm of snow and 4 mm of rain

Type of grooming: compacting | classic ski tracing

Equipment used: snow mobile with tracer carpet

  • Morrison's Quarry to Cascades : Poor, lack of snow;
  • Cascades to Burnett : Poor, lack of snow;
  • Burnett to Kirks Ferry: Poor, lack of snow;
  • Kirk's Ferry to Mill: Mill to Wallace: Poor, lack of snow.

The Winter Trail conditions are updated every Friday afternoon during the season. For more information, please contact the Recreation Department at 819-827-6228.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: There is equipment located along the trail at the height of Cascades, for work purposes. Compaction will resume once it is removed next week.
