Call for nominations to join the Family and Seniors Committee

April 23, 2021

Positions are currently open to Chelsea residents interested in volunteering on the Family and Seniors Committee which will meet three to four times a year or as needed. The commitment to this committee will be for a period of two years with the possibility of extension.

The Municipality wishes to restart the committee, following an interruption in meetings. The committee's mandate is to make recommendations to the municipal Council on the action plan resulting from the Family and Seniors Policy.  These recommendations and follow-ups will then allow Council to make judicious and informed choices on the subject.

If you are interested in this challenge, please send your application with the mention "Application for the Family and Seniors Committee". You will also need to send a letter of interest along with any other relevant documents, in which you outline your skills, expertise and training related to families and seniors as significant assets to serve on this committee. In addition, you must be a resident of Chelsea and 18 years of age or older.  Good oral and written knowledge of french and english is required.

Applications must be sent by email to m.lafontaine@chelsea.ca.
