Flags at half-mast at the Municipality

In the aftermath of the tragedy in Quebec City, Mayor Caryl Green has asked that the flags at Town Hall be flown at half-mast for three days. This symbolic gesture is intended to show solidarity and support for the the families and loved ones of the victims.

During the night of Saturday to Sunday, a man dressed in medieval costume killed two people and injured five others in the streets of Old Quebec. Since then, the man responsible for this tragedy has been arrested by the police.
