November 2, 2025, general election in Chelsea: the election period is launched

The election period begins today in the municipality of Chelsea. Six municipal councillor positions and the position of mayor will be filled.

The period for filing nomination papers is open from September 19 to October 3, according to the following schedule:

• Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• Exceptionally, on Friday, October 3, 2025, the office will be open continuously from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Anyone wishing to run for one of the positions mentioned must file a nomination paper with the returning officer, Charles-Hervé Aka (or the assistant designated to receive nomination papers, where applicable), no later than Friday, October 3, at 4:30 p.m.

If more than one person wishes to be a candidate for the same seat, you may exercise your voting right by going to your assigned polling station on the following dates:

• Polling day: Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Advance polling day: Sunday, October 26, 2025 from noon to 8 p.m.
