In the context of COVID-19 and following the measures put in place by the Government of Québec, the Municipality of Chelsea announces the closure of modules and playgrounds located in all parks on the Chelsea territory.
This is a preventive measure to avoid the spread of the virus and comes into effect immediately, and for an indefinite period of time. In addition, the soccer fields, baseball and basketball field as well as the skate park are closed. Access to the community toy play chests and neighborhood book exchange boxes is also prohibited.
Infection control is everyone's responsibility. The Municipality asks all residents to follow recommendations issued by the Government of Québec and to stay home unless it is for essential services.
