Compost collection is marking its first anniversary with impressive results!

A year after the introduction of door-to-door compost collection, the figures are impressive! Thanks to everyone’s efforts, the municipality has managed to divert more than 350 tons of compost from landfills! In addition, the compost quality was found to be excellent, which means that all the compost collected in the municipality was accepted by the transfer station.
So, the municipality is on the right track to reach the Quebec government’s target of making use of 100% of organic matter. Continue your good work and pay attention to what you discard to see whether you can compost it even further.
