The Municipality announces certain measures concerning the outdoor rinks on its territory

The Municipality of Chelsea announces certain measures concerning the four outdoor rinks on its territory. In order to comply with the sanitary instructions issued by the Gouvernement du Québec, the following restrictions apply as of now:

• Free skating in solo, duet or with members of the family bubble ;
• Field hockey: eight people maximum;
• Maximum of 25 people per rink.

In addition, the service cabins located at the rinks in Hollow Glen and Farm Point parks will be closed for the winter. Users are invited to use the tables set up around the rinks to put on their skates.

Farm Point Municipal Rink

Status: open

Facilities: parking available and picnic tables. Please note that the service cabin is closed until further notice due to the pandemic.

Hollow Glen Municipal Rink

Status: closed

Type of rink: outdoor, with borders and lights

Facilities: parking available and picnic tables. Please note that the service cabin is closed until further notice due to the pandemic.

Old Chelsea Village Ice Rink

Status: closed

Address: 11 Chemin Scott

Area: Centre-Village, district 2

Type of rink: outdoor, no borders, with lights and music

Facilities: public parking only and picnic tables

Conditions: N/A

 

Ice rink on the site of Chelsea Elementary School

Status: closed

Address: 74 Chemin Old Chelsea

Area: Centre-village, district 2

Type of rink: outdoor, no borders, with lights

Facilities: parking available and picnic tables
