The Municipality has officially launched its new website! What do you think of it?

The Municipality of Chelsea officially launched its new website on May 8. To improve communication with the residents of Chelsea, the new website which maintains the address chelsea.ca offers a better organized and completely redesigned structure to facilitate navigation and retrieval of information. Alongside its new and refined layout, you will find:
- A new dynamic and adaptive interface
- More than 30 new pages
- A simplified website navigation divided into four main sections: residents, development and business, tourists and online services
- A resident’s menu listing the important sections and the most frequently requested topics
- A search bar to ease access to information
- A more detailed calendar
To optimize the user’s experience, the Municipality based the website’s redesign on the feedback received from a discussion group composed of its residents. The output from the discussion group led to the creation of the website’s new main features.
Online services as of Summer 2019
As we are constantly improving, new elements and services will continue to be integrated throughout 2019. An example of such is the “Voilà!” software which will allow residents to enjoy many online services such as; obtaining certain permits, receiving their tax bill, making requests, etc. Voilà! will also be available as a complete mobile application.
