Lifting of the preventive boil water advisory on the Municipal Water System

The Municipality of Chelsea's Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that the boil water advisory affecting residents served by the water system is now lifted.

Residents are now able to safely consume water from the municipal aqueduct.

The precautionary boil water advisory was issued by the Municipality on Saturday, May 21, due to a water supply problem that was depriving some residents in the western sector of water. Having been under minimum pressure for a few minutes, a precautionary boil advisory was necessary to ensure the quality of the water for consumption.
