To do so, simply fill out the form below and email it to the Public Works Department at travauxpublics@chelsea.ca. Once the application is received, it will be reviewed by the Planning and Sustainable Development Department to verify the property (e.g. mass movement zone, proximity to a watercourse, etc.). Residents whose requests are in compliance will then be put on a list for possible delivery of backfill, depending on availability and the proximity of the work carried out by the Municipality.
Remember that the fill material is offered free of charge by the Municipality and is a mixed soil that can be used to level and elevate a lot. It is often used as fill material for ditches. It is composed of soil and other materials such as sand, stone, clay, etc.
