In spring 2026, the Mayor and municipal councillors met with residents in each of Chelsea's six districts, bringing together more than 200 people in total. The meetings were intended to share information on current municipal files and to hear the concerns, questions, and suggestions specific to each sector.
The findings from these six meetings have been brought together in a summary report submitted to Municipal Council on September 15. It includes the general information shared at the meetings, a summary by district, and the key findings common across the Municipality — road safety, infrastructure capacity, development oversight, water access, and municipal service quality came up repeatedly across several sectors.
The report also includes, as an appendix, the results of the prioritization survey completed by 166 respondents in District 6.
The full report is available here.
Thank you to everyone who took part in these meetings. Your questions, comments, and suggestions feed directly into Council's thinking, including preparation for next budget.
