The Municipality of Chelsea invites its residents to participate in its inventory of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions within its territory by filling out this short anonymous questionnaire of approximately 5 minutes.
This questionnaire will allow us to collect data on GHG coming from Chelsea homes and residents chosen transportation methods. The higher the participation, the more the consequent recommended actions will have an important impact on the environment. This is the time to get involved!
This inventory is part of the Sustainable Development Action Plan (SDAP) and will study municipal GHG emissions as well as the collective GHG emissions emitted within Chelsea’s territory. The firm LCL Environnement was mandated to complete this project. Following the deposit of the final report, we will have recommendations to concretely reduce our GHG emissions.
Deadline to take the questionnaire: December 18
The SDAP was adopted in 2018 to plan sustainable development actions by acting on the tree pillars: environment, social and the economy. After a public consultation on the subject, multiple elements were deemed a priority by residents including the reduction of GHG emissions, garbage management and planning whilst protecting the fauna and flora of Chelsea.
