Share your views on the Architecture and Design Guide for the Centre-village: the online questionnaire is open until November 18, and there is an open house on November 16 at La Fab sur Mill. On November 3, Council gave notice of motion of a bylaw extending the moratorium on new construction in the Centre-village by two years, because our drinking water and wastewater treatment plants will not have the capacity to serve every potential project.

The MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais has tabled the new 2027-2028-2029 triennial property assessment roll for the Municipality of Chelsea in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting municipal taxation.

The candidates’ answers on Chelsea’s four priorities are now online. The wildlife habitat file has a timeline. Council adopted the Meech Creek habitat connectivity area, and the Municipality has signed a conservation easement permanently protecting close to 30 acres at the Musie ponds.
Farm Point: a fourth habitat connectivity area along Meech Creek
At its September 15, 2026, meeting, Council adopted the by-law establishing a habitat connectivity area along Meech Creek, in the Farm Point sector. It is the fourth area of its kind in Chelsea.
