Municipal Elections

Municipal elections are held every four years. Voters in the Municipality of Chelsea are then called to the polls to elect a mayor and six councillors. Once elected, they will form the municipal council, whose mandate is to represent the population by making decisions on the municipality's policy directions and priorities.

Chelsea voters are encouraged to turn out in large numbers, as voter participation is essential to democratic life.
