Member wanted on the Environment, Sustainability and Climate Change Advisory Committee

The Municipality of Chelsea wishes to fill a vacant position on the ESCCAC and is looking for a resident interested in serving as a volunteer for a two-year term, with the possibility of renewal.  The committee meets one evening per month at 7:00 pm.


The Municipality is looking for a resident who are interest in serving on a committee that works to maintain the quality of life of Chelsea residents for current and future generations, to protect and enhance the environment, to promote sustainable development and to adapt to and combat climate change.

Interested candidates must have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Sustainable development
  • Environment
  • Climate change
  • Biodiversity
  • Nature conservation

All applicants must be residents of Chelsea at least 18 years old with a good oral and written understanding of French and English.

Following the receipt of applications, a selection committee will make its choice member and the appointment will be approved by Council.
