The candidates’ answers on Chelsea’s four priorities are now online. The wildlife habitat file has a timeline. Council adopted the Meech Creek habitat connectivity area, and the Municipality has signed a conservation easement permanently protecting close to 30 acres at the Musie ponds.

At its September 15, 2026, meeting, Council adopted the by-law establishing a habitat connectivity area along Meech Creek, in the Farm Point sector. It is the fourth area of its kind in Chelsea.
