The Municipality of Chelsea's Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that the boil water advisory affecting residents served by the water system is now lifted.
Water samples are still being analyzed at the laboratory to ensure the quality of the water for consumption. Please be assured that the municipal staff is following the situation closely and that as soon as we have the results of the analysis we will inform the residents as soon as possible.
All Chelsea residents served by the municipal water system must boil their water for at least one minute before consuming it, until the advisory is lifted.
