Find out what to do with these bulky metal items.

What are metal bulky items?

This refers to bulky items made mainly of metal which, because of their size or volume, cannot be placed in your waste bin.

Curbside collection

Residents can use the collection service to dispose of certain items, provided they comply with the new terms and conditions. To do so, simply place the items at the curb on the usual collection day, leaving a space of one meter between them and the bins.

Next collection: September 9 to 12, 2025

How else can you dispose of them?

You can bring your bulky items to the transfer station in the MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais.

Are your items reusable?

Suppose the items you plan to throw away are still in good condition and could be helpful to someone else. In that case, we encourage you to drop them off at a recycling center to give them a second life.
