After a little more than a month of work, it is today that the adventure of the Chelsea Youth Coop is ended. The 2020 cuvée, composed of 10 young people between the ages of 13 and 17, invested 373 hours of service and 788 hours of volunteer work between July 6 and August 13. This experience allowed them to develop their entrepreneurial qualities such as autonomy, adaptability, self-confidence, creativity, resourcefulness, team spirit, initiative, leadership, perseverance and a sense of responsibility. As a result, 25 residents of the Municipality of Chelsea, despite the measures and adaptation related to COVID-19, benefited from the services of landscaping, weeding, children's animation, wood cordage, painting and small repairs.
The Municipality would like to congratulate the young people for their accomplishments and thank the partners who, year after year, make this beautiful entrepreneurial project possible.
