Upcoming Spring Collections and Distribution

In the coming weeks, the frequency of regular garbage and compost collections will change for the summer period, and several special collections will take place.
Residents will also be able to obtain compost from the municipality.

Here are the details:

Important Dates:

Garbage collection takes place every other week, from April 13 until early October.
During this period, only one garbage bin is accepted per collection.

 Details regarding the collection of garbage

When

Weeks of May 12, 18, and 25, 2026, at the same time as the regular collection.

How

  • In the compost bin, or
  • In brown paper bags designed for this purpose and placed at the curb.

Reminder: All types of plastic bags are prohibited, including those labeled as biodegradable or compostable. This helps the municipality process organic materials at a lower cost.
Paper bags or waxed paper bags designed for this purpose are accepted.

Hazardous Household Waste (HHW)

When

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where

Municipal garage located at 119 Chemin Scott.

What to Bring

Used oil, paint, solvents, compact fluorescent light bulbs, pesticides, etc.

Proof of residence is required.

Branch 

When

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where

Municipal garage located at 119 Chemin Scott.

What to Bring

Branches, logs, and stumps are accepted. They must not be tied.

This year, residents will once again be able to obtain compost from the municipality.

When

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where

How

Self-service compost pickup on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please bring your own equipment (containers, shovel, gloves).

What

Large non-metal items that cannot be placed in the garbage bin due to their size or weight
(e.g., furniture, mattresses, wooden items).

How

  • At the same time as the regular collection.
  • Place a maximum of 6 items at the curb.

Item Not Picked Up

Report it to Public Works no later than June 10. A second pickup will be scheduled.

What

Large items mainly made of metal that cannot be placed in the garbage bin due to their size or weight
(e.g., appliances, metal structures).

How

  • At the same time as the regular collection.
  • Place items at the curb. 

Item Not Picked Up

Report it to Public Works no later than June 17. A second pickup will be scheduled.
