You will certainly enjoy the Voie Verte Chelsea Trail on your next family outing. However, despite all the work done so far, it is not yet finished. To avoid any surprises on your summer outings, here is the schedule of studies and work to come for the year 2021. This work will allow us to finalize development of certain sections, secure the trail, and finalize the foundation.

Studies and plans to come in the summer of 2021
- Finalization of the mandate with the firm EXP to prepare various plans and specifications, including stabilization work in four areas, redevelopment of certain intersections deemed dangerous, and plans to install guardrails and five culverts.
- Completion of a geotechnical counter-expertise study for stabilisation work in the la Vallée sector south of Chemin Wright.
Work to come in the summer and fall of 2021
- Replacement of existing signage with signage that meets Ministère des Transports du Québec standards at each trail intersection with public or private roads or private driveways
- Replacement of some culverts
- Installation of guardrails at certain trail locations deemed dangerous
- Redesign of trail intersections with Route 105 and Chemin de la Rivière
