Interruption of water service between Route 105 and Highway 5
The Municipality wishes to inform you that an interruption of the water system will cause a service interruption between midnight and 5 a.m. in the night of Monday, August 5 to Tuesday, August 6.

Road Works : Closure of de la Mine Road
The Municipality of Chelsea wishes to inform its residents that rehabilitation work, addition of bike lanes in both directions and culvert replacements work will take place on Mine Road, between Notch Road and NCC Trail #5, from July 29 to November 21, 2019. This work will be carried out in collaboration with the NCC.

Special Planning Zone : The Municipality will ask for a revision
The ministère des Affaires municipales et de l’Habitation (MAMH) recently issued a map delineating a Special Intervention Zone (ZIS). The ZIS applies to all 0-20 year flood zone and to the areas flooded during the spring floods of 2017 and 2019 as defined by the Government of Quebec.
Waste collection : new standards
As of September 1, two new standards come into effect for waste collection: residents will have to limit the amount of waste placed at the curb for collection and purchase a compliant bin.
