Reopening of the library

May 13, 2021

Starting Tuesday, May 18, we will be happy to welcome you inside the library and allow you to have access to the shelves and choose your books by yourself, while respecting the sanitary measures in effect.

However, please note that municipal offices remain closed to the public as the MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais is still in a red zone and that teleworking remains mandatory for Town Hall employees.

 

Schedule

Tuesday to Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Allowed capacity in the library

The library can welcome a maximum of 20 people at a time (excluding employees and volunteers).

Return of documents

Documents should continue to be returned through the outside drop box, except for material too large to be deposited (backpack, snowshoes, etc.).

Workspaces

Some places will be available. Wearing a mask is mandatory at all the time.

Computers

Only one computer will be available. Contact us by phone at 819 827-4019 to reserve a space. To use the computer, you must always wear a mask. Please note that printing of documents will be allowed from the computer and that payment for printing must be made in cash only.

Museums passes

Passes may be reserved depending on the opening and conditions of the museums.

Unavailable at the moment

  • Access to photocopier;
  • Activities inside the library;
  • Access to the washrooms.

 

Sanitary measures in place

  • Respect at all times of a physical distance of two meters;
  • Plexiglas as a protective barrier;
  • Returned documents and materials are quarantined for 24 hours;
  • Regular hand washing for everyone;
  • Mask wearing or face covering is mandatory for people aged 10 and over in public places;
  • Cleaning of tables and chairs used by the public every 4 hours;
  • Cleaning of the computer between each use.
