Calling on the community to review the municipality's recreational needs

February 15, 2024

This year, the Recreation Department is embarking on a review of residents' needs and interests in recreation, sports, culture, and community life. The process will involve two stages: the first one will involve holding a focus group per district, and the second stage will involve public consultation in the spring.

The focus groups will gather opinions on current experiences, ideas, priorities, and expectations for recreational development. The information collected during these meetings will be synthesized and used to develop the online consultation, which will be available to everyone via the Cocoriko platform. These face-to-face meetings will last around 1.5 hours and in both official languages.

The Recreation Department is therefore looking for 10 to 12 people per electoral district to participate in these open, collaborative dialogues so that together, we can shape the future of our community in terms of recreation, sport, culture and the great outdoors.
