The Public Works Department of the Municipality of Chelsea wishes to inform the population that a preventive boil water advisory is now in effect for the entire water system.
All Chelsea residents served by the municipal water system must boil their water for at least one minute before consuming it, until the advisory is lifted. Please note that during this period, you may experience cloudy water and a drop in water pressure throughout the system. As soon as the situation is restored, an email will be sent, in addition to the broadcasting of messages on the various platforms of the Municipality to warn the citizens.
Intervention on the water system
It should be noted that a notice of reduction in drinking water consumption was sent to residents due to an emergency intervention on the water system carried out by the Public Works Department on October 11. This measure is still necessary to ensure a stable and constant supply. The cooperation of citizens is crucial.
