The MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais has tabled the new 2024-2025-2026 triennial property assessment roll for the Municipality of Chelsea, in accordance with la Loi sur la fiscalité municipale du Québec.
The average increase for a property on our territory is 46%.
Please note that this increase is an average. The value of some units may have increased more than the average, while others have increased less.
These increases are not reflected as such on taxpayers' bills, since Council has the authority to adjust the tax rate compared with last year. In fact, a new assessment roll simply distributes the tax charge differently among taxpayers.
Following the release of this new roll, the MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais and the Municipality have decided to hold an information session for residents.
Date: October 26, 2023
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Where: basement of 220 Chemin d'Old Chelsea
The session will take place in person but will be recorded and available as a rebroadcast on our website.
