Two draft by-laws to create more conservation zones and extend the network of trails on the territory

The Council has approved two complementary draft by-laws submitted by the Planning and Sustainable Development Department:

  • increase the number of protected conservation areas throughout the territory
  • facilitate the procedure leading to the creation of conservation servitudes
  • create new trails between communities for active transportation
  • allow the municipal administration to retain its right to require easements of passage in these conservation zones to extend its trail network
  • continue to support environmental non-profit organizations in their environmental protection objectives.

 

Draft by-law to finance 2024 capital expenditures

The Council has authorized the acquisition of equipment and vehicles for the Fire Safety Department and the Public Works and Infrastructures Department for the year 2024. All for a total amount of $1,381,400.00.

 

Notice of reservation for lots of interest for the CSSPO

The Council approved mandating RPGL to take all necessary steps for the Municipality to acquire a lot of interest for the Centre de services scolaires des Portages-de-l'Outaouais.

This resolution guarantees that the lots in question will be reserved for the Municipality.
