The Municipality launches a website entirely dedicated to the strategic plan!

The Municipality unveils today a new website dedicated to its strategic plan. Accessible at chelsea2040.ca, the site is designed to share the strategic plan with the municipality's residents, employees, and partners.

The website is intended to be a dynamic and informative showcase for the Chelsea 2040 Strategic Plan. It will also be used to report on the progress of ongoing projects.  Designed to guide users through the key elements of the plan, it features five main sections: vision, mission, values, strategic pillars, and the public consultations report.

The strategic plan is centered on a vision towards 2040 and will be implemented over the course of three years. It will guide the decisions of the municipal organization and council until 2026. The 2040 goals serve as a foundation to ensure continuity with each renewal of the strategic plan, even after elections.

A collaborative process

The strategic plan development process began in January with a working committee of elected officials and municipal employees. In parallel, two public consultations have been held. The first was an in-person event that allowed for discussions with about 50 residents. The second was held online, and more than 200 residents took the opportunity to have their say. In addition, some 900 residents responded to the vision exercise held as part of the review of the urban plan. Their input has also been analyzed and taken into account.
