Preventive boil advisory on the municipal water system affecting residences west of Highway 5

February 6, 2020

After obtaining more information, the Public Works department narrowed the area affected by the preventive boil water advisory and confirmed that it applies only to citizens residing west of Highway 5 and served by the municipal water system.

A preventive boil advisory is in effect following water and sewer connection work for one of the residential projects in the centre-village.

The Municipality must conduct preventive analyses in order to ensure that water quality has not been affected during operations,

Do not use water from taps without boiling to a ‘’rolling boil’’ for at least 1 minute OR use bottled water.
