The Municipality is pleased to announce that it has established a Fonds vert program to provide financial and municipal support for environmental, sustainable development, and/or active transportation initiatives in the community.
The Fonds vert is open to community members, local entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations, and public agencies (e.g., schools, healthcare institutions, social services, and the Municipality itself). Eligible projects include studies, awareness projects, capacity-building actions, environmental or active transportation events, and other exceptional/significant projects.
Each project selected will be eligible for a financial contribution as follows:
- Projects of $5,000 or less: The amount awarded could represent up to 75% of the total value of eligible expenses.
- Projects of $5,001 to $25,000: The amount awarded could represent up to 50% of the total value of eligible expenses.
For the year 2021, project applications will be accepted from May 1st to May 31st.
