Installation of signs announcing the speed change on chemin de la Rivière

At the regular council meeting of October 5, the speed limit change on the section of chemin de la Rivière in front of Farm Point Community Park. The speed limit will be reduced from 50 km/h to 30 km/h on December 1st.

Notice signs were installed on November 1 to warn users of the upcoming speed change. By law, this change can only be effective 30 days after the installation of of these signs.

Why change the speed limit?

Following the installation of the play structures at Farm Point Community Park and at the request of the residents of the area, the Municipality decided to reduce the speed limit to ensure the safety of park users.
