Authorization for additional work for rehabilitation work on Chemin de la Rivière

The Council authorized additional expenditures for the replacement of a culvert and the roadway slope adjustment (percentage of slope in the curves of the road).

 

Authorization for additional work on Chemin du Lac-Meech

The Council authorized additional expenditure for the final surface paving of Chemin du Lac-Meech, between Chemin Dunlop and the Promenade de la Gatineau. The work was scheduled for 2021, but the delay in completion and the increase in the price of materials has resulted in additional costs.

 

Financial assistance program for recreational, sports, and outdoor infrastructures

The Council accepted the request for financial assistance for recreational, sports, and outdoor infrastructures of the Ministère de l'Éducation, submitted by the Recreation Department. The project involves building a municipal park on a parcel of land owned by the Municipality on the Meredith Centre land.

The goal is to enhance the offer for the open practice of physical activities to Chelsea residents.

 

Mandate to the Union des municipalités du Québec (UMQ) for the purchase of chloride used as a dust suppressant for 2024

The Council authorizes the Municipality to sign a mandate with the Union des municipalités du Québec (UMQ) to create a call for tenders document for the group purchase of various products for the year 2024.

The Municipality wishes to purchase the liquid chloride solution used as a dust suppressant for its various municipal activities. It is entrusting the UMQ with the call for tenders process leading to the submission of group purchasing contracts.

 

Support for the MRC des Collines de l'Outaouais in its request to the governments of Québec and Canada regarding the Québec gas tax and contribution program

The Council supports the MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais in its request to the Quebec gas tax and contribution program.

The resolution calls on the governments of Quebec and Canada to adapt the programs to the issues and realities facing Quebec municipalities financially.

 

New service agreement between la Fab sur Mill and the Municipality

The Council accepted a new service agreement. The Municipality of Chelsea will continue to provide snow and ice removal services to la Fab sur Mill in exchange for the rental of rooms free of charge for municipal meetings.
