January 12, 2024 - Lifting of precautionary boil water advisory for the entire municipal water system
The preventive boil water advisory for all residents served by the municipal water aqueduct system is now lifted. You may now use water from the network as usual.

Members wanted on the Environment, Sustainability and Climate Change Advisory Committee (ESCCAC)
There are two vacant positions on the ESCCAC. The Municipality is looking for residents interested in serving as volunteers for a two-year term, with the possibility of renewal.
H2O Chelsea Program to end in 2024
As of February 1, the H2O Chelsea program will unfortunately cease collecting well water samples. The last collection days will be January 15 and 29, 2024.

Against a backdrop of tougher economic conditions that have not spared municipalities, Municipal Council has adopted a balanced budget of $26 million on December 20, 2023, with a residential tax increase of 6.3%.
