Chelsea Days is back for 2025 with a program featuring over 30 free activities perfect for the whole family. Plus, treat yourself with the food trucks and take the chance to win prizes!

 

NEW - Unlike previous editions, most of this year's activities will occur on Soccer Field 1, located at the corner of Chemin de l'Hôtel de Ville and Chemin d'Old Chelsea. Other activities will take place in Farm Point, Hollow Glen, or other locations on the territory so be sure to check out the details below. 

 

Saturday, June 7

Where: St. Mary Magdalene Church (537, RTE 105)

Time: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Take advantage of the bargains and give used items a new lease of life! Gardeners from the Gatineau Valley will also be on hand to sell their plants.

Shawarma Chelsea will be on hand to sell food and beverages.

Where: Farm Point Community Park (311, ch. de la Rivière)

Time: 10 to 11:30 a.m.

 

Training stations: A circuit training course consisting of several stations, each dedicated to a type of effort (cardio, strengthening, balance), to be followed at your own pace for a complete and varied workout in the great outdoors.

In the event of rain, the activity will be rescheduled for Sunday, June 8.

Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Visit the thrift store and make your next fashion discovery!

Where: 100, ch. de la Rivière (accessible via the Voie Verte Chelsea)

Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.


Discover a variety of free watercraft at the club's boathouse. Try your hand at dragon boating, paddle boarding, outrigger canoeing, rabaska canoeing and much more.

You can also explore a vintage photo exhibit and delve into the fascinating history of Club Cascades!

Take a tour of a historic farm, its buildings, and gardens while learning about the lifestyle and activities of the various families who lived on the farm. The activity will be conducted in both official languages. Families are welcome.

In the event of rain, please bring your umbrella, as the tours will still take place.

Time: 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Age Group: 4 to 8 years old

 

Come and make a pencil case or flowerpot as a souvenir of the Municipality of Chelsea's 150th anniversary. Get creative!

Where: 102-9, ch. Cross Loop

Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

The charity event benefits Les Chiens Togo, an organization that supports assistance dogs. All Pitou Minou et Compagnons of Québec will walk 2 km for the cause at the same time. To participate in the walk, make a $25 donation.

Nordik Spa-Village and Square Old Chelsea join forces for Chelsea en Fête with a special program on the Square Terrace.

Join us for an introductory skateboarding session with Gatineau Skateboard! Whether you're a beginner or curious about the sport, our experienced instructors will guide you in a friendly atmosphere. Learn the basics, gain confidence and have fun on your board, all in a safe and adapted environment.

Soccer des Collines invites you to discover this game that combines the precision of soccer shooting with the fun of bowling. Come one, come all and try your hand at knocking down the targets!

Where: Soccer Field #1 (corner of ch. de l'Hôtel de ville and ch. Old Chelsea)

Time: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

 

During this hands-on workshop, participants will learn which bat dormitory models are recommended and how to build one to support local populations. The dormitories built during the workshop will then be installed on land protected by ACRE.

Every year, the Municipality receives several tree seedlings for distribution to the population as part of Tree and Forest Month. Each household can obtain a tree, accompanied by an explanatory sheet detailing the needs of each species, for optimal planting. Distribution is on a “first come, first served” basis.

A great 30-minute Zumba session for parents and kids! Come, warm up, and spend quality time with your family, sharing the pleasure of movement.

Why am I afraid? What am I afraid of? What if there were tricks to defeat the monsters under our bed?

In this show, storyteller Stéphane Guertin explores classic stories containing scary elements: a giant, a witch, a forest at night and a wolf. “Quand les orteils auront des dents” is a humorous way for 4- to 9-year-olds to learn to overcome their fears with strength and determination. Armed with his guitar and a few musical objects, the storyteller creates a sound world to accompany his tales.

As part of Chelsea Days, the Chikara Chelsea Judo Club will give a short judo demonstration and open its mobile dojo for a fun training session open to everyone.

Come and meet local artisans! Learn more about their artistic practices as you watch them work on their creations. What's more, you'll have the chance to try out some of these creative practices by making a small creation to take away.

Create a dream catcher in the company of artist Nathalie Coutou. You'll be able to make your own dream catcher at your own pace, following the artist's advice. All materials will be provided on site. This workshop is for children and adults.

Join us for a floor pilates class for all levels with Studio 105! Bring your yoga mat, a water bottle and pilates props like bands or balls (optional). We'll have a few extra props on hand to share, but depending on participation, we may not have enough for everyone.

Luana invites you to an open-air fairytale. Little and big stars will be asked to plunge into a magnificent universe to meet funny and endearing characters. Children can also enjoy themed crafts, treasure hunts and other fun games. 90 minutes of fun and laughter sprinkled with a touch of enchantment.
